The Shocking Miss Pilgrim (1947)
This film is the story of a 1870s Boston woman who
becomes the first female employee in a shipping company. The men object
to her at first, but she soon charms them all, especially the young head
of the company. Their romance is sidetracked when she becomes involved
in the women's suffrage movement. Marilyn Monroe has a bit part in the
movie.
